Life Science Networking is purposed for folks who are looking for opportunities to build relationships within the various life science industries in RTP.

As an academic scientist that attempted to transition into an “alternative PhD” career, I quickly realized I didn’t know where to start.

There are a lot of great resources and tools out there to help your job search. However, without any instructions or guidance, they aren’t very helpful.

Along the way, I made a lot of mistakes, learned a lot, and realized there are a lot of generous folks out there willing to help.

To honor those folks that helped me out along the way, I started Life Science Networking to pay it forward, help educate folks on how to put their first and best foot forward, and guide people on how to build meaningful relationships.

If I could describe Life Science Networking in one phrase, it would be “Team Job Search”!
